On 30th March 2008 the Association held a seminar which was to give advice, instruction and technique on the hand-stripping of the wire fox terrier. Our Chairman, Bill Browne-Cole commenced the proceedings by giving a short pep talk and then unveiled some of his techniques to a fascinated audience. Participants then commenced to put Bill's sage advice into practice ably assisted by members of the WFTA Committee and members who had come along to help. The seminar was extremely well-attended both by new members, members of long-standing and more than a few professional groomers. We were delighted both with the number of participants and the appreciation showed. To all of you who wrote letters and sent e-mails after the event, a big thank-you. The event would have been nothing without your support and it is gratifying to learn that our efforts were so well-received.
We hope to hold a similar seminar next year so keep a look out on our website (EVENTS) and the dog press for details.
